Summary

An earthwork enclosure bounded to the north and east by a broad silted ditch and on the other sides cut into the slope, lies in the field west of the Church of St Cosmus and St Damian. It is probably the site of a mansion built as a vicarage in 1375. On the site of a deserted medieval settlment (see TR 16 SW 17) and within the area of it's scheduling. Two depressions to the north west possibly mark the site of outbuildings.
