Full Description
A 'Boudiccan silver coin' (obv. Female head to to r., Rev. horseman toll.) in Birmingham Museum was found at Sandgate. (1) However, Mack (2) says that no coins of Boadicea are in existence and it is unlikely that many were struck in her name. (2) TR 2035. Sandgate, Kent. An Armorican (4) base silver coin was found at Sandgate. (3) Additional bibligraphy - not consulted. (4)
