Full Description

A late C1st - early C2nd Roman burial group comprising an urn and a poppy-head beaker was found in December 1934 in the NW corner of the playing field adjoining the Harvey Grammar School; it was presented to Folkestone Museum (Acc. No.58, 1934) by the School governors and is on exhibition there. No information was gained at the school on the exact provence or circumstances of the find; the general area indicated is centred at TR 21183675. (1)
