Full Description

[TR 26644901 - sited from plan] In a field at Golgotha, Sibertswold, there "are scanty remains of a rectangular earthwork which is reputed to have been a Danish camp and burying spot. There is, however, no definite evidence of its purpose". (1,2) A close search of the area, now overgrown and covered with bushes, revealed no traces of an earthwork. (3)
