Full Description
TR 265488 - TR 269490. Golgotha Railway Tunnel, Shepherdswell Golgotha Tunnel is on the only part of the East Kent Light Railway still in operation. This leaves the main Dover line just north of Shepherdswell and serves Tilmanstone Colliery only. The tunnel has deep approach cuttings and is built for double track though only a single track was laid (see illustration card). (1)
