Full Description
Roman cinerary urns, burnt bones and other vessels were found c.1859 when digging brickearth at TR 20954945 (a). A Samian vessel and two saucers with possible Christian symbols found in a brickfield near Breach Downs in August 1870 (b) are almost certainly from the same site. A brickfield is shown centred at TR 20954945 in 1872 (c). It is now disused and under pasture.
