Flint flakes have been found at TQ 54406821. Few implements have beenpreserved by Col. Meates, however no exact record to relate their provenance has been kept. No field action. (1) Lon: 0 13'10" E. Lat: 51 23'29" N. 4 flint flakes and 1 fragment of pottery found from the surface of a small Thanet hill adjoining Farmingham Wood and Calfstock Lane by Greenfield and Meates on 14.9.47. The same area produced a flint core, a portion of a fabricator and 31 simple flakes, when examined by Meates and Greenfield on 31.7.47. (2)
