Full Description
A Neolithic polished flint axe, the butt end broken off in antiquity, was found in August 1920, by the late Mr. Pownall, whilst digging in his garden at Holly Cottage, near Bramling. It is now in the possession of Mr. Norris, The Cottage, Summer Hill, Canterbury, who remembers the discovery and indicated the findspot at TR 22305696. (1)
