Full Description
Belgic sherds, Roman wall plaster, post medieval tile fragments and a few 18th century sherds were found c.1906 when a sewer trench was dug in Church Meadow, Littlebourne. The finder Mr. N. Jarvis, now of "The Highlands", Bekesbourne, indicated on his own 6" the site of the find (TR 21085792) but nothing significant was seen on the ground (arable). The finds are now in Canterbury Museum Acc. No. 8779. (1)
