Findspot record TR 25 SE 40 - Pointed Palaeolithic handaxe, surface find

Summary

An Acheulian handaxe was found in 1972 by the son of a Bacmeister on a farm track close to Rowling House, Goodnestone, near Sandwich. The handaxe was found in an area of Head Brickearth geology.
