Full Description
TR 273549. A pointed Acheulian handaxe was found in 1972 by Mrs Bacmeister's son on a farm track close to Rowling House, Goodnestone, near Sandwich. Uncertain where handaxe originated as track had been repaired with stones and flints from various sources. The handaxe remains in the possession of the owner. (1, 2)
