Monument record TR 25 SW 43 - Early medieval graves, Barham Downs, Canterbury

Summary

In 1966, 18 early medieval flat graves with associated grave goods; among these were a small iron buckle, 2 sceattas and a spearhead. Bones were found in 11 of the graves. These 18 graves are designated 'Barham Downs A'. These graves may have been part of the southern extremity of the Kingston cemetery.
