Monument record TR 25 SW 45 - Early medieval graves, Little Cote, Dover Road, Barham Downs

Summary

Four early medieval graves were found in 1968, Two of the inhumations contained grave goods, in one a knife, the other 2 copper alloy mounts and 4 knives. These 4 graves are designated 'Barham Downs B'. The site lies on the brow of a slight spur of a south-west facing slope. OD 95-100. 1km to the south of the 'Barham A' site (TR 25 SW 43).
