Full Description
Three sides of a faint rectilinear enclosure with a very small ring ditch superimposed on its northern corner: the enclosure faces south on Snow Down. (1-2)
Rectilinear enclosures visible as cropmarks in Google Earth images of 2007. Two adjoining enclosures c.90m in length and c.55m in width. The possible small ring ditch noted in the earlier description is not clearly visible and may in fact be an entrance. Two parallel linear cropmarks to the north-west and a further two parallel linears to the south-east may represent further enclosures, though as they are thinner and straighter they are probably not of the same date as the main enclosures. A ring ditch measuring 12m in diameter is visible to the east of the two enclosures, and there is a possible ring ditch of similar size to the south.
