Full Description
Large curvilinear enclosure with an entrance on its east and west sides, both of which were approached by ditched trackways. (1)
Cropmarks of a probable Iron Age/Roman banjo enclosure at TR 2151 5422, visible as a large D-shaped enclosure with a long diched-defined entrance extending to the south-east and a second similar funnel-shaped entrance to the west. This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Kent NMP Mapping Project and is visible as a cropamark on aerial photographs taken in 2015 by Historic England. The cropmarks of further ditches, possibly boundaries, and numerous pits can be seen across the same large arable field. (2)
