Findspot record TQ 56 SE 6 - Eolith and Palaeolithic and Neolithic flint implements

Summary

Palaeolithic and Neolithic flint implements found by Benjamin Harrison in 1865 and on subsequent occasions. Harrison also recovered many eoliths, clearly representing naturally-flaked or worn flints rather than genuine artefacts. Seven lower Palaeolithic handaxes are among the collection.
