Full Description
On exhibition in Margate Public Library (b) is a small Roman olla presented by Mrs. Kathleen Hawkes(g). About 6" high of reddish- black ware, it was found c.1932 by the late Mr. Hawkes, builder at TR 2896 6976 when No.25 Harold Road, Birchington, was being constructed (1). Additional references (2-4).
