[Area TR 255 668] Cropmarks of ring ditches. Identified from aerial photographs. The features are thought to be associated with a number of ring ditches to the north (see TR 26 NE 26). Possibly the remains of Bronze Age barrows.

One (with double concentric ring) is almost certainly representing the site of a round barrow.(1

Situated on a S.W. slope of downland. The ground has been freshly ploughed and nothing was to be seen.(2)

In the area between TR 256660 and TR 260760 there are cropmarks of at least 20 enclosures and barrows. Sites nos. 127 and 128. (4)

RCHME AP shows 3 ring ditches located at TR 2555 6685, all single-ditched, 1 from Thanet cropmark plot. (5)

A ring ditch forming part of a round barrow of Bronze Age date was visible as a cropmark in CUCAP AFK83 14-JUN-1962. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (7)
