Full Description

[Area TR 29486827] Cropmarks of six ring ditches and rectangular enclosure. (1) Cropmarks are under plough. There are no surface traces of the marks. (2) TR 29476820 Four small ring ditches. (3) RCHME AP shows staple enclosure, 2 ring ditches, pit and linear feature at TR 2940 6830. Gp. of 10 ring ditches (6 from Thanet cropmark plot) below at TR 2941 6816 (GCE). TSMR site no. 0212. The cropmark remains of a group of ring ditches, linear features and an enclosure, visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs EARTH.GOOGLE.COM 03-2022. ACCESSED 19-APR-2024, HEA 29844/20 20-APR-2016 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 and mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet Landscape mapping project in 2024. These features are now recorded separately as child records to this main parent record (15-17).
