Summary

An Anglo-Saxon spearhead was discovered in 1977 during the cutting of foundations for a silo. The find was dicovered in a feature cut into the chalk bedrock and it is thought to represent the remains of an Anglo-Saxon grave. The site is on a low ridge, of a south-east facing slope, OD approx 17m.
