Monument record TR 26 NE 90 - Ring ditch, Monkton

Summary

A ring ditch cropmark is situated in fields to the north of Monkton by the A299. This ring ditch is located in close proximity to a large group of c. 20 similar features to the east (see TR 26 NE 82). These monument spots have been identified as the remains of Bronze Age barrows and it is considered probable this ring ditch dates from the same period.
