Monument record TR 26 NE 129 - Circular ditched enclosure, near Monkton roundabout
Summary
The cropmark of a circular ditched enclosure has been identified by aerial photographs taken of an area to the north of Monkton roudabout. The feature is c.25m in diameter and appears to have a causewayed entrance. Several other similar features have been identified in close proximity to this enclosure (see TR 26 NE 127 and TR 26 NE 232). The precise location of this feature is uncertain due to contradicting information recorded on the Isle of Thanet Sites and Monuments Archive.
