Monument record TR 26 NE 135 - Probable Roman grave, Gore End Bay, Birchington

Summary

A cut in the chalk near the sea front at Birchington was identified as the possible remains of a grave. Pottery sherds were removed from the fill of this feature, and dated to the Roman period (possibly a repeat of TR 26 NE 122).
