TR 274673 Cropmarks of enclosures. Aerial photograph reveals cropmarks of banjo enclosure type. Iron Age farmsteads? (1) Photographs (2-3)

The cropmarks referred to by the previous authority may be describing the settlement enclosures described in record MWX17891 200m to the NE. These features have been mapped from aerial photographs CUCAP BXA30 04-JUN-1976 and NMR 4137/23 18-JUL-1988 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (4-5).
