Full Description
[Area TR 256618] In 1960 a trench for a water main was dug in a north-south direction from Stourmouth to east of Wingham. About 550 yards NW of Stanton Farm a hearth was found containing some 60 Neolithic potsherds and a wide range of Neolithic flint artifacts. (1) Additional bibliography (2-3).
