Full Description
Roman pottery was frequently turned up in excavating gravel at Preston Forstal. (1) The Preston Forstal area has been extensively worked for gravel in the past and the pottery referred to by Authority 1 cannot be sited to any one pit. All pits are now dusused. (2-3)
