Findspot record TQ 56 SW 9 - Mesolithic, Neolithic flint implements, found in the north west corner of Greenhill Wood

Summary

A Neolithic flint axehead was found by Colonel Meates in a ploughed field at the northwest corner of Greenhill Wood. From the same area he has found some fourteen implements, including scrapers, part of a polished axe, and Mesolithic microliths.
