Full Description
(TQ 5234 6489) Long. 0 11' 18", Lat. 51 21' 44" approx. A flat-topped mound composed mainly of large flints; probably a barrow. (1)
A shapeless, low mound of earth, with many flints exposed, is situated at TQ 5236 6486, upon a false crest towards the southern end of a spur of downland within Lullingstone Park. The mound, at present under corn stubble, is about 24.0 m. in diameter, is less than 0.3 m. in height and shows no signs of having been ditched. It is probably a ploughed down tree mound. (cf. the tree mound at TQ 5241 6406 which is topped by a clump of small trees and encircled by an iron fence.) (2, 3)
