Full Description
(TR 3544 Sited to place name only). ?Inhumation burial. An Anglo-Saxon skull from St Margaret's at Cliffe. In 1911 an aged male skull was found during excavations by Pearsons and Sons, Contractors. It was dated at the time to between the 6th and 8th century. It is inthe British Museum, Natural History. (1)
