Full Description
A twisted gold arm torc was found in 1772 in a field near Dover; weight 9 ozs; circumference 16 ins; 1.5 ins round opposite the opening, gradually decreasing to the extremities each of which terminated in a flat kind of fibula. The inside was flat, the outside round and quite plain. The present whereabouts of the torc is not recorded. (1)
