Full Description

Traces of a Roman Road aligned north south, road associated with chalk-block walls were found north of Snargate street (centred TR 317410) Dover. It may be part of another road with three carriage ways excavated in 1945-46 further to the north. The road was made early in the second century and continued in use to the beginning of the third.
