Full Description
A late Tudor stone fireplace was found on an uper floor at Guildhall Vaults, Bench Street Dover. The fireplace was exposed through enemy action during the second world war.(1)
The original pub (The Guildhall Vaults) was demolished in the 1940's but is said to have dated to 1690. (2)
