Full Description
A recess lined with a panel of puce 18th century Delph tiles depicting many scriptural scenes and a curious drain recess, the back and sides lined with three Delph tiles were found behind a cupboard at milestone cafe, Snargate Street (centred TR 318411), Dover. The tiles were exposed during enemy action in the second world war. A stoop was also exposed in a wall lined with Delf tiles. (1)
