Full Description
A lead seal was found in a garden in Alfred Road (centred TR 309426) Dover in about October, 1977 by Mr N Dixey. The seal appears to read + S'RICI' ATEWOODI, the seal of Richard Atewood. It is probably thirteenth to fourteenth century in date (see illustration card). Thefind was donated to Dover Collection (Dover Museum). (1)
