Full Description

(TR 33095813) COURT HALL (G.T.) (Site of) (1) The old Courthall, or Guildhall, Sandwich, stood on ground purchased in the 18th c. for the enlargement of St Peter's Churchyard. The present Guildhall (see TR 35 NW 20) was built in 1579. (2) There are no extant remains of the Courthall. (3)
