Full Description

TR 322596. Railway viaduct, Great Stonar. The brick piers and approach embankments still remains of the viaduct built c. 1916 by which the East Kent Light Railway crossed the South eastern line from Minster to Sandwich. The bridge over the River Stour has disappeared completely but the embankment beyond the river remains. This section of the line was closed in 1949. (1)
