Full Description
TR 37235198. Flint implements of Thames pick type, a portion of a celt and scrapers were found in July 1921 during brickearth digging in G Dennes pit, Mill Road, Deal. On display in Deal Castle Museum from this pit, which is now laid out as playing fields for Deal County Secondary School, are three scrapers of mid-Ne date and a Thames pick. (Part of the Deal Town Hall Collection). (1)
