Full Description
(TR 3800 5255 Sited to place name only) Bronze Age settlement. At Deal a circular V-shaped ditch was excavated in 1934. It had a causeway with three post-holes on each side. Fragments of Late Bronze Age pottery came from the ditch and there was also clay daub from a wattlehut and bones of ox, horse, sheep, pig and dog. (1)
