Full Description
A Deverel-Rimbury bucket urn, with a finger printed cordon near the base as well as below the rim, was found "recently" near Great Mongeham. (1) A distribution map in Deal Castle Museum, has a symbol for "BA find" at Ellen's Hill, E of Great Mongeham (TR 35 SE - TR 35155135) but no further information was gained during fieldwork. (2)
