Full Description
A Byzantine C6th AD coin, minted in Alexandria, was found in the grounds of Betteshanger Preparatory School for Boys in the Spring of 1964. The coin, classified by Mr Kent of the BM, is held by the school, but was not seen. The finder, Master Brydon, indicated the findspot at TR 31125261, adding that it was a chance discovery whilst picking up stones from the soil. (1)
