Findspot record TR 36 NE 3 - Flint implements, near North Foreland Lighthouse, Broadstairs and St. Peters
Summary
Various flint implements were found in 1868-69 about 200 metres to the west of the North Foreland Lighthouse. A conflict of information in the sources has lad to some uncertainty over the identification of the finds. An earlier source recorded the flints as 'naturally fractured flint but no artefacts or waste flakes.' The finds are now thought to include worked flints and waste flakes.
