[TQ 5569 7504] Anglo-Saxon Burial Ground [NR] (Site of) [NAT] (1) Saxon burials. 7 or 8 skeletons and a few small fragments of Saxon pottery found near Littlebrook Farm, Dartford, in January, 1883" ... in removing gravel from the edge of the top of the hill overlooking Littlebrook Farm, by the side of the road on the eastward. ...... There were other graves and some still remain." (2) The site occupies the crest of a prominent spur overlooking the Stone Marshes. The copse that formerly stood here has been felled many years and the site is now a piece of waste ground. The finds are not in Dartford Museum. (3) Additional Bibliography (4)(5)
