Full Description
A large amphora was found in St. Peter's parish in 1877. It is noted amoung other Roman finds from Thanet, mainly from Ramsgate and the jounral includes a picture of the Amphora.(1) This amphora is not in the local museums and no further information on it was gained. (2)
