Monument record TR 36 NE 22 - Roman burials and a Roman coin hoard?, St. Lawrence College, Ramsgate

Summary

Roman burials with pottery were recorded in the grounds of St. Lawrence College, in the latter half of the nineteenth century. c.120 Roman coins were also discovered in the grounds of the College and from the grounds of the Derby Arms Public House. A coin of Postumus was discovered in nearby St Luke's Avenue.
