Full Description
From the Register of Scheduled Monuments:
I have split this record into two parts, one for the presumed Prehistoric features, and the second for the presumed Saxon features. Cropmark site showing rectilinear enclosure intersecting ring ditch. Numerous pits and other features also show. Some of these may be outlines of Saxon cemetery discovered in the sand pit to the west of the road. No visible earthworks appear to survive. No surface indication of the site in a large tract of cultivated land.
