Findspot record TR 36 NE 34 - Roman coins and pottery, found at the Granville Hotel, Ramsgate
Summary
Roman vases, a Samian patera, an Upchurch vase and an indented beaker of black Renish ware, were found under the Granville Hotel, Ramsgate. A Denarius of Marcus Aurelius and one of Faustina the Elder were also found at this site; these are now in Canterbury Museum. Much of the pottery was on display in Ramsgate Public Library.
