Full Description

'Capsized offshore following engine failure and was taken in tow of the motor vessel TOVE LONGBORG to within a few yards of the entrance to Dover Harbour. here she was considered a navigational hazard and was lifted and moved to her present position on 24.11.1975. The wreck now lies in a general depth of 5m.' She had been charted by the UK Hydrographic Office as a dangerous wreck at 51°07'.701 N, 001°20'.930 E [WGS 84], but after a thorough echo-sounder search in 1994 nothing was found 'other than lobster/crab pot floats' and the wreck was considered to no longer exist. ,( 31.1.94) 'Bits of her are now to be found sticking out of the seabed.'
