Full Description
'A motorised yacht which sank after cutting inside the West Cant buoy, foundering 1.2 cables, 033 ° from Garrison
Point.'
The UK Hydrographic Office (Source 2) chart her as the FINLANDIA OF DINGLE, 'entire wreck' in a general
depth of 2m in the approximate position 51°26'.900 N, 000°44'.867 E [OGB], but she dies not seem to have been
examined as no information is available regarding the condition of the wreckage.
Dingle is peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland, and the name of the vessel suggests that she may have come from this
holiday destination.
She was 10.7m long and built of fibreglass, but nothing further is known about the vessel.
