1943 - 1951 Named HENRY LOMB and registered to the US Government, in Baltimore, USA. She was built as a
Liberty Ship. Source 2 gives her former name as the HENRY COMB, but this appears to be an error.
1951 - 1952 Owned by the Western Navigation Corporation and re-named WESTERN FARMER. Registered in New
York.
These ownership details are somewhat at odds with those given by NV in Source 2, where they appear as follows:
HENRY LOMB 1943 WSA (A H Bull and Company, New York), 1946 WSA (Lykes Brothers Steamship Company,
New Orleans), 1951 WESTERN FARMER, Western Navigation Corporation, New York. 20.8.52 Collided with
BJORGHOLM near Ramsgate, broke in two. Fore part sank, after part towed to Calais, and scrapped in 1955. (
