Full Description

A metal detecting survey carried out in the early 1990s found 138 Roman bronze coins along with six silver coins, two brooches and possibly some parts of bronze figurines, specifically a "bronze head Roman (Poseidon)" and a "boar's head". The material was concentrated in the area immediately east of the cricket pitch. (1)
