Monument record TR 36 NE 50 - Site of beacon, St. Peters
Summary
A 16th century beacon was thought to have been formerly located in St. Peters. It is shown on Lambarde's 'Carde' of c.1570. and the Tithe Map for St. Peters of 1838 also shows this 'Beacon'. The land is now developed and nothing was seen on the ground during construction.
